cryosurgery

Was wondering if anyone had cryosurgery done to their liver mets.  They use think needles and insert them in your tumors and freeze them.  I am in St Louis Mo. and my doctor never mention this to me because I guess they use it for other cancers but I did read it can be used for metastic disease in the liver.

    luckygirl, until other members post with their own experiences with cryosurgery, there is an article on the main Breastcancer.org site about Cryotherapy, although not specifically about its use for metastatic disease in the liver.
