Clear margins

I am worried about clear margins. It seems like some surgeons require 2mm margins and some are happy with 1mm. My surgeon said he was happy with my margins but the RO said I needed boosts because my margins were so close.

My margins were 1mm and my path. report says the 'tumour is abutting the superficial margin'. I also had a satellite tumour which they 'found' during surgery which had similar margins.

I asked about the chance of more satellites and the Onc said he couldn't tell but radio. should get any more. Why then do we have surgery to remove them?

I would love anyones input on this as I am concerned.
