still confused !

actually i dont know where the problem is in ??  in me or in my DR ....i did my CT scan in july and it is stable nothing change .. and also the nodules that were on my lungs neither increased nor decreased stable .. and now i am on herciptin today just asked my dr .. am i stage 1 ... i was told that yes if the nodules arenot related to my BC ... i wanna know   can the nodules change in the next days ??   when my dr be assure that it is not related to my bc ...i was told that i am treated as i am a stage 1 but i feel like he depressed me every time seeing his face .... instead of telling me to be optimistic and courage me he told me today that in bc patients i cant be assure that you are cure 100%   because it may return back again ... my second question that i am on herceptin and today my dr requested a blood test he said that we will make it every 4 months or something like that .. is that normal ??  should i be scared ??

 That's breast cancer for you.  Sadly, you can have a great prognosis, no nodes involved, a small, slow growing cancer and it can sneak back a smack you at any time. Even without the lung things, there is a possibility that the evil genie is out of the bottle and may be with you always.  There is a much better chance that the lung nodules are nothing and that your cancer has be vanquished, but the doctor wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't make you aware that thing can change. As much as I hate it when the pros say it could come back, wouldn't it be worse if they said "you're cured." And because they weren't looking for anything the missed the signs that the monster is back, no?
