Nipple reconstruction cost comparison in NJ

My insurance company says that the reasonable and customary charge for nipple reconstruction is half of what my dr billed.  I don't agree with this and suspect that my dr is in line with other drs in the St. Barnabas Hosp area.  If anyone out there has had nipple reconstruction with a dr in Livingston or Morristown, NJ, will you please respond and tell me what your dr charged for it?  I would like to appeal the health insurance decision and need evidence of comparable charges.  Thank you.
