Obamacare: Does it affect/will it affect your treatment?

Hey, all:  Just got an email about a teleconference coming up on March 20, 2013 on Understanding the Affordable Care Act in 2013 for People Living with Cancer. It's offered by Cancercare.org. I am definitely signed up for this. I have insurance now, thank God, but am single and have metastatic breast cancer, so this is definitely a big issue for me.

Wanted to pass this on.

Thanks to u for letting us know about this. Even though mine was dcis I still am concerned about recurrence. This topic is an important topic for all of us.

my surgeon from a top national cancer center made an off-hand comment about this when i was discussing prophylactic mastecomy... he said it all might change come obamacare and it may change what insurance companies choose to cover.
