Tig Notaro Actress and Comic has breast cancer in both breasts

She is 41 and announced it during her stand up performance the other night. She had just recovered from a life threating infection and found this it soon after.

After a life-threatening illness, the death of her mother, and a break-up, Tig Notaro was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer.  She discussed all of this in a stand-up comedy performance only days after her cancer diagnosis. She is hilarious -- and, from what I saw on the Conan O'Brien show, has chosen no reconstruction.  I think I found an interview on Huff Post's Funny Women page.  I think there is a $5.00 fee to watch the stand-up show...some of the money goes to charity, if I remember correctly.
