Review Canadain Plastic Surgeons specialized in reconstruction

Hi ladies, I belive that it would be very educative for all of us to write revews about plastic surgeons and reconstructive procedures.

 I have recently finished chemo and radiantion and now I am strating to think about breast reconstruction after mastectomy. I was reffered to Dr. Melinda Musgrave at St. Michaels in Toronto and I was very excited to step into this next phase of my life, until I read the terible reveiws about her on RateMDs.com. The bad experiences that most of the women had with this surgeon are saddening and I realized that we need to be wise and research our options.

Also, I belive it's important to choose a plastic surgeon who does the DIEP procedure ( spares the muscle, TRAM procedure cuts the muscle out) and has a lot of experience.

One more thing, does anyone know a Candain plastic surgeon who does implants after radiation ?

He has an office in Toronto, but does some reconstruction out of Oshawa as well.

I'm very happy with him. I'm sorry this is so late - you've likely already had it all done,but I wanted to share anyways..
