Trip to see Vinnie

lala1 - Well, it's the truth. (Damn it, now you've made me cry...) I didn't do a thing - you did all of the work! I seriously can't get over how fabulous you look! EVERYONE should be lucky enough to look as good as you do, and that's simply a fact.
-
Okay. Now I must see Lala's results, since everyone is crying!! How do you do the picture forum?! XXX
-
bobogirl - It looks like you joined the picture forum on 10/26/13, so just log on in and you can see what I (and all of the others) mean. Lala1's thread is sitting at the top of the second page of the Under Construction area... (BTW, those were all happy tears.)
-
This article on Vinnie just came out today in Washingtonian Magazine. (Many thanks to olaf who posted a link over on the picture forum.) It's a great article - and if you had any doubt that Vinnie was busy before, he's about to get busier...
-
Catie... Sorry. I was pages behind. Yes, I had my tattoos in April, but knew I was having surgery in June. So Vinnie only did a partial tattoo, no Montgomery glands. So I am going to Maryland in November for a touch up.
-
I have an apt with Vinnie next month, but it will be a very quick trip. We are flying in & out of DC and driving up to Finksburg. Any suggestions on things to do/see outside of DC or Baltimore? Thanks!
-
Thank you for the article!

Has anyone had thier tats done by Trent? I wanted my tats done around my bday in Jan and of course Vinnie is booked through March! I booked with Trent. Of course, I asked why was it the same price if you were not getting a "Vinnie " ! There wasnt really a resonse to that . The more articles that come out on Vinnie, the less available he is. Let me know what you think of Trent !
-
I haven't been yet, but from what I understand Trent had to train with Vinnie and work under his supervision for a while before he became the alternate for our type of tattoo. Vinnie is very particular about who he will allow to do these tats and I doubt he would allow a lesser artist to work from his shop. I believe there are photos of Trent's work on Vinnie's website.
-
dessert1st - Here's Trent's gallery on Vinnie's website:
http://vinniemyers.com/artwork/3600916.html
There used to be only a few pictures in there and now there are 35, so other women have opted for him, too. I think you'll be in great hands!
-
Well, I got my Vinnie's yesterday . . . All done! And, wow, I'm still just staring at them every opportunity I have lol. Worth every penny, including traveling from Colorado to Baltimore. I highly encourage anyone who is considering making the trek to do it! Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

KSteve - My date with Vinnie isn't until January - a mere 106 days from now, but I'm already excited! So glad that you're happy with your results. Vinnie's 'the man'! CONGRATULATIONS!
-
AZ - I bet the next 106 days will speed by! Especially with all of the upcoming holidays. Trust me, it's worth the wait. I keep looking in the mirror every chance I get. Still hard to believe they're mine lol!

Thanks, Kathy, I think you're right! At least I hope you are....
-
I'm counting the days now!!
AZ, I just got word today that my request for delay of jury duty was granted. WHEW!!!
-
Would love to see the expression on the face of the jury committee when they saw the reason for your request?!!! But Vinnie is so worth it (5/8/14 Vinnie experience on my bmx recon)!!! Wooo hoo!
-
Dulcigirl - WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I just knew that the universe couldn't be that cruel! I'm so excited for you! How soon is your date with Vinnie? - I have 97 more days, (but who's counting?)...
-
About 19 days!!!!!!!!!
Plus I get to see my sister! AND I may even get to see a couple of the girls I met here. About 15 of us got together two years ago in a private FB group and those girls have become like family. I never would have made it through this without having them out there UNDERSTANDING!! But I've never met any of them in person. YET!!!
-
traveling from ne to see vinnie this week. Anything to know before I go?
-
Has anyone had any luck with insurance paying for tattoos done by Vinnie in MD?
-
I submitted insurance claim. I received a check for half about a month after submitting.
-
I'm just about to submit to insurance. I'll let you all know whenever I hear back. Good luck this week, Mistyb! It was easy, so don't stress. I hope you are as happy with your outcome as I was. I go to see my PS in a couple weeks for a 6-month recheck so I can't wait to see what he thinks

DONE!!!!!!
It's a rainy day here, but a GOOD DAY!!!
And for those who have followed my little story, yes, I wore THE SHOES!! Lol.
-
Putting my pin in the board after I finished.
Vinnie and his daughter were just great. Can't wait to peek again when I get some alone time.
-
Dulcigirl - Yay!! So happy for you. I put my pin in the map too
I hope you are as happy with your final result as I am. Still staring in the mirror every day and I got mine done 4+ weeks ago!

Dulcigirl - I'm SO HAPPY for you! Just got back from my fat grafting surgery but saw that you'd posted and had to stop by. (Right now a large nap is the next thing on my agenda!) Only 78 more days for me..... Looking forward to seeing your results! Have fun with your sister!
-
Oh,... and the shoes look SPECTACULAR!
-
Dulcigirl - You and your shoes ROCK! Congratulations! Say hello to my pin!
-
Trying to post a few pics to the picture forum, but will have to wait til I get home to resize them. Very happy. I cannot believe how REAL they look. The Montgomery glands?? It baffles me that they don't FEEL bumpy!!!
AZ, anxious to hear how your grafting went!
-
Congrats Dulchigirl!
