Alternate Metabolism Pathway: Fewer targets?

 When glucose metabolism is being targetted by drugs, tumor may find alternative energy source like fatty acid to survive and grow.    Feisty little buggers.  Perhaps if we find drugs to neutralize this new energy source, tumor may stop?
