Australian Research-Stopping Breast Cancer spreading to Bones

Good evening,

They have announced in Australia today, that researchers in Victoria have found that Interferon therapies currently used for hepatitis, skin cancers and HIV patients may be successful in breast cancer by stopping the cancer spreading to bones.

The treatment has not been trialled in breast cancer patients,  however research has shown that it has potential, and will now lead to further testing.

Let's hope this will be another treatment for us.
