Post Radiation Side Effects

I completed 16 rad. treatments almost 11 weeks ago and have had quite a few issues.  After about 10 sessions, I had a couple of blisters and some redness of the skin and the RO thought that it was shingles and gave me a script for anti-virals.  It was never concluded that those blisters were in fact, shingles!!  After the 16 sessions, I had some severe burns that were treated in a wound care clinic for nearly 4 weeks.  The wounds slowly healed and then I am being treated for cellulitis!  I have now been on antibiotics for nearly 6 weeks and feel extremely fatigued by all these side effects of the radiation treatments. The RO is now refering me to a Infectious Diseases Specialist. Has anybody had similar experience to mine?  How common is it to have these side effects?  Please share your similar experiences.
