Rheumatoid Arthritis related to DCIS or breast cancer?

I hope someone who has rheumatoid arthritis or lupus can answer this question.  After the diagnosis of DCIS and the surgery...

The doctor (not oncologist) said I have a positive anti-nuclear antibodies test, a higher than normal erythrocyte sedimentation rate and a high result for rheumatoid factor and wants me to see a rheumatologist.

Does anyone know if there a connection between having DCIS and having rheumatoid arthritis?  Could the presence of inflammation that shows up in the tests be caused by the DCIS (which has been removed)?  Would having cancer cause those three tests to show there is such inflammation?
