What an incredibly dynamic speaker. There's been a lot published recently about the microenvironment. I believe the theory behind alkaline water is that it changes the microenvironment. Hopefully, this field will open up and lead to new treatments. Thanks for posting!

Wonderful talk by Mina Bissell! The "key" to understanding the genome is understanding how "cells" work. The "cell" is a system, an integrated, interacting network of genes, proteins and other cellular constituents that produce functions. You need to analyse the systems' response to drug treatments, not just one target or pathway. The microenvironment contributes critically to drug response and the "3D" advancement recreates the extracellular matrix.
