I did have any CT scans until after all treatment was complete. I only had a breast MRI & a pet scan.

It doesnt say it PREVENTS breast cancer, it say's it LOWERS the risk.

    Wally,

Is your twin sister still living? If so, are you saying she still may have a dx of cancer before she dies due to the 3 CT scans?

    Thatgirl,

my twin is still alive and I am saying that to date, she is cancer free. Yes, she may get a cancer dx any time; clearly if statistics are correct (crap shoot), since my dx, her risk is higher....regardless of the ct scans...in theory with the scans, her risk is even higher.  I hope she never hears the dx.

She has had a breast reduction and no cancer has been found (she had boobs as big as mine).
