Oncotype test results

Hi my name is Patricia I am 53 years old, and i am new to all of this. I had a lumpectomy with 3 lymph nodes removed all negative with clear margins. I was diagnosed with dcis stage 1 grade 2.My oncotype test results were given to me yesterday. My score is 22.i was wondering if i can get some feedback in regards to treatment people have gotten with this diagnosis. I would appreciate any feedback

Patricia, if your path results say "stage I" then your diagnosis is not DCIS but IDC -- DCIS is stage 0 (and typically nodes are not removed with DCIS, but they are with IDC).  

The oncotype score, for you, is an indication whether or not chemotherapy (along with radiation and tamoxifen) will be recommended.  You need to discuss these results with your MO ... but in the meantime, here is a link to the oncotype dx results website: http://www.oncotypedx.com/en-GB/Breast/PatientCaregiver/GettingTested#b3
