mastectomy with DIEP flap scheduled....any advice appreciated!

I am scheduled for a mastectomy (right breast only) with immediate DIEP flap reconstruction on August 1.  At this point, my oncologist and breast surgeon do not expect any lymph node involvement.  I'd deeply appreciate any advice/words of wisdom from anyone who has gone through this surgery....thanks so much.
