External Burns 6 months after Radiation

I finished my radiation in January.  I had very few problems, just fatigue and some swelling.  But about 2 months post radiation I started having external burns show up on my nipple.  This has been ongoing for 4 months.  The nipple turns black, is really sore and then all the skin dies.  I peel it off and we start all over again.  Now, there are two very small scabs on  the areola right where the surgery was.  Also, the right breast is warmer than the left.  The temp has gone down some but still you can feel the difference in temperature. I saw the oncologist and the surgeon last month and they didn't seem alarmed but I'm getting a bit spooked.  Has anyone else had this experience?
