Armpit/shoulder pain 16 yrs. after lumpectomy??

Just wondering if anyone else has armpit/shoulder pain many years after lymph node removal??   If I lift something (or someone) heavy, it really hurts the next day.  And my surgery was back in l995!

    FMC, I'm not sure how your post got missed, and I'm sorry! But I hope by now you've gotten some answers from your medical team. Sure could be the start of lymphedema (which can appear even all these years later), but there are other possibilities too, since shoulders are pretty easy to damageFrown. Either way, best to get help soon so healing and/or therapy can start.
