Hi I was taken off herceptin because of low muga I started at 69% dropped to 49% after approx 5 months though my muga has come back to 59% onnc will not put me back on herceptin for fear it will drop again

Has this happened to any other New zealand her2 ladies or Australian her2 ladies, as I know America will generually put you back on if your muga comes back to normal My onnc thinks I have had enough as I had it with Chemo.

Hey lucky, not that i know of. i am trying to sort out things with  the herceptin, i am waiting for lab  reports as i am on tamoxifen and did not get told about herceptin and i am, but not sure now HER+2 positve, they told me that chemo would do only 7% of good compared to the s/e and now i am waiting for a lab report to see what status i am. some of the girls  are outraged that i was not automatically put on it if i am her +postive, they talked me out of chemo. hope you find your answer too. its a horrible thing aye this breast cancer. turns your life upside down.  take care lucky.  warm hugs for now, sorry i can't help you. the girls in the autralian  thread will have lots of info though. they are a wealth of info and lovely with it.

Thanks for that midnight1327, they said tamoxifin would be no good for me as i am only her2 and my tumour was 3.5 cen and i had 7 nodes poss. good luck with your treatment. I guess they know better than us,
