ok, say 50% of cancers are preventable.   The author is in radiology.   They go for mammograms/MRI/PET every year at her clinic.   One day they detected a cancer.   Oh oh, since focus has been on prevention not on treatment, we got no treatment for him/her.  just send the guy or gal to hospice?

The other day at the farmer's market,  I asked the organic strawberry seller, what does she do to stop the bugs.   She gave me a list of DA approved organic herbicides, fungicides and fertilizers.

Sorry girls, organic is not really organic any more.   If there's no round-up, there will be organic round-up.   Profits would always drive most aspects of our life and  prevention would never work.    Spend 50 billion more dollars on prevention or studies on prevention, cancer will just go on to kill the other 50%.
