I'm badly burned - don't deal with LE! At least that's what I was told at one of the Thrift Stores. I went in to get a couple pair of jeans to cut off to make shorts out of. The first woman (1) came over and asked me how and when had I gotten burned? Turned out her experience with compression garments was she had had a friend who had been horribly burned and compression garments were used to minimize scaring so she was going on past experience. (I've also had 2 friends who were badly burned MANY yrs ago and compression was used with them but had forgotten about it.) Good time for education and as I starting explaining to her some other 'female' came over and started in that I shouldn't be telling stories - should just admit that I was burned and should not be ashamed of it. (WTF?) I got away from them and asked that Security come as 2 was getitng quite 'hot' with 1. 1 and I went to a little Mom N Pop diner near and had had a nice talk over tea. Don't know what happened to 2 - she was escorted to the back.

Brought back to mind for me - we use sleeves/gloves with our LE but there are other reasons for them to be used too.

So 'it's scars - not LE' - guess I better 'drop' my LE guy! LOL
