 Hi Everyone,

Went to ER Monday night as I think I have cellulitis again. Had it last year . Not nearly as bad.I have redness above my elbow. Also I have some bumps in my inner elbow. One is like a pale line that is raised and there are 2 red marks. Don't know if I got a bite ot if my sleeve did it.

Anyway taking apo-amoxi clav 875/125mg twice a day for 7 days. Looking a little better now. No pain but some swelling. Any suggestions? Anyone take this before? LE hugs jinky

Aw, Jinky, bummer! Nobody needs this!Frown Sounds like you got help quickly, though, and it's slowly getting better. I'm glad you're not in pain--whew! Drink lots of water, elevate, rest up, lots of deep abdominal breaths whenever you think of it. If anyone is around to help out, let them! Keep us posted.

    Hugs and prayers,
    Binney

So sorry to have a cellulitis pal this week. Sounds like we both acted fast. To everyone who " thinks" they are getting cellulitis: Waiting only lets it get a toehold! I feel much better several days on Keflex and hope you feel much better too real soon!

Hi, Ladies!!! I have now been cellulitis free for a year now. My infectious disease doc in IN put me on a antibiotic for a year. My new PCP and onc here in CA  both want me to go off the amoxicillin as soon as my prescription runs out and my PCP will give me a standing  script for Clindamyacin if I need it. They both don't like that I am on a prescription daily and indefinitely!!! Prayers for all of you going through this, cellulitis can be scary!!!!

Thinking of you and how summer with Cellulitis would be no picnic. Haven't had the opportunity to receive it and hope never. Oh girls..... you have my true sympathy! Only thing you can do is, bury your Cellulitis in a bath of Chocolate!Smile

Thanks for warnings, I am going to be on the watch for it. As Canada's national anthem says "stand on guard for thee". I will!
