Liver ache??

Was dx in 2010 with IDC gr.3 +nodes and BRCA2+. Had chemo and rads. Had a hysterectomy 15 months ago. My surgeon even photographed my liver. It was pink and healthy. My PET/CT 2 yrs. ago was healthy. I've had 2 additional CT scans -- all within 9 months.  Nothing suspicious. I do have an ulcer -- not h, pylori that was dx 9 mo. ago. But I get a little bit of an ache from ulcer (center of stomach) to sometimes right side under ribs. So scared of you know what.  Can someone talk me down, please. Can't stop tearing up and obsessing.

Rachel, over the years I've had pains in my liver area that all turned out to be nothing. Ironically, when my liver mets were found I had no pain at all. I'd write it off as ulcer pain radiating to that area, but to be sure, it probably wouldn't hurt to just mention it to your onc who could easily do some blood work to see if your liver is o.k., if only to ease your mind.

Thanks, gracie1. My blood work showed that my liver enzymes were actually the best yet since ending chemo. They went down about 10 pts. We suspect all the fish oil I was taking was elevating them.

I think you've covered all your bases and that is very good news! I know it's hard, but you've had all the tests to let you know you're o.k., so try to put it out of your mind.
