Robin Roberts Now Dealing With Leukemia

This morning on GMA, Robin Roberts told the viewing audience that she is now dealing with MDS, or myelodyspastic syndrome, a type of leukemia which she is saying was the result of her treatments for bc.  She will be undergoing a bone marrow transplant within the next several months, her older sister is an exact match.

What a shame.  I've always admired her positive attitude and athleticism, as well as liking her professionally.  I pray that catching it early and having a perfect bone marrow match, coupled with her extraordinary outlook and faith, will be enough to beat it.  Godspeed, Robin!   Deanna

God Bless her is such a Positive personality even before the cancer, she is uplifting and she over came the cancer and I pray she will do the same with this, she will continue to have HOPE as it is what gets US thru, and with your Faith from your higher Power, mine is GOD, Bless us ALL. msphil(Idc, stage2, 0/3 nodes, Lmast, chemo and rads and 5 yrs on Tamoxifen)
