Sleeve and glove with a small wriste?
So I have really small wristes and an Medi non-custom glove and sleeve. I got the sleeve last november and a 30/40 glove with it. IN Feb at a check up at MDA the lana tech switched the glove to a 10/20 and kept it. The wrist on both types is large, but the 30/40 was so much tighter I didn't have issues. After my surgery 2 weeks ago where they removed my last 17 Lymphs, I have been having swelling issues all day. At night I wrap during the day I wear a sleeve and a glove (I ahve a two year old and I can't keep it wrapped during the day). Anyway, During the day my wrist seems to collect fluid beneath the glove and the sleeve. I am going to go hunting for a new glove sleeve combo, but If you have any recommendations I would appreciate it. going shopping with a two year old to a medical supply place is not so fun. I won't have an unlimited amount of time to experiment. Granted my overall arm size is still small. I have been very anal retentive about being proactive, but I can tell a difference even if the general public can't about my arm size. It is measurable.
In Feb the Lana tech talked about getting a night sleeve and a fllexitouch. At what point do you decided you need to invest in a 10K machine, or in my case 2k because the insurance only ever covers medical supplies at 80%.
Thanks

I might try custom...I have a tiny wrist and wear a juzo custom sleeve and Barton-Carey glove.

I have very small wrists and my swelling is predominantly in the upper arm. I have Juzo sleeves/gauntlets in 20-30. I started out with Jobst, same size and they turned my fingers purple within 15 minutes and were so hard to put on I had to lay down after getting them on, lol! I returned them and switched to these and love them. They fit very well on my wrist, which measures 6 1/4".

CUSTOM. Otherwise the lack of continuity in compression will result in fluid pooling one place or another. What you spend for custom will possibly be surpassed by cost of PT and makeshift garments that create the issue in the first place.
I got a good fit by a JOBST fitter ( from the company itself: JOBST FITTER ).
