I thought that some of these types of tumors could also be due to cell phones.  Can't recall where I read it now...

I have read several reviews on Empower, Fox News and CNN with doctors saying it is not related to any other cancer, to we don't know what causes it and it might be hormone replacement related and it is associated with er pr and other sexual hormones.

Wow - what are we to believe?

A risk factor is not the same as a cause. There are likely to be multiple causes and probably it requires several things to act in a particular order. Some say the perfect storm. Experts and consumers are really just making educated guesses about risk factors based on limited studies so they're bound to come to different conclusions depending on their knowledge and biases.  Meningiomas and BC share some risk factors but meningiomas are still rare so it's not anything to lose sleep over.

Here's a link to the National Cancer Institute showing the research to date on cell phones which is inconclusive.

    Cell Phones and Cancer Risk

Risk factors between cancer and environmental or lifestyle factors are often pretty low and differ from one study to the next.  Maybe the cell phones can spark the beginning of cancer in certain conditions such as a genetic vulnerability or other environmental damage.  I hardly use my phone and keep it at a safe distance but our children accept them and use them freely.

What I find much more worrying is our tendency to accept food additives, inferior foods or genetically modified foods without any idea how it could affect our health in the long term.  Our children are especially vulnerable as can be clearly seen with the increase in childhood obesity, diabetes and related conditions which will cause a huge health and societal cost in the future.
