Since last Aug I've had a masectomy on my right side,  5 months of chemo, 33 rads and 2 weeks ago had my uterus, cervix and ovaries removed.

Monday when I went for my follow up with the gyn from this last surgery, he was a little concerned about how my left breast felt.  They called my surgeon before I left and he told them I didn't need to wait until Aug.  I wasn't too concerned until tonight.  My left breast feels tender.  Then I remembered I called my surgeon several weeks ago because it was hurting and seemed larger than usual.   He told me to wear a tight fitting sports bra so I thought this must be common. It could also be from the weight gain from chemo.  Now with Monday's appointment I'm a little concerned.

Menopause is new for me so I don't know if the tenderness is common.  I had pain with my diagnosis before.  My mammogram was clear in January.  By July my chest pain was so bad I thought it may be my heart.   My lymph nodes showed up on the stress test which I failed but it ended up that my heart was fine.

I know my oncologist said that my highest risk of recurrence is the first two years so I guess that could be any time.  I wonder if anyone here has had a recurrence this soon.  I probably just tired and overthinking things a bit.

Still, I would appreciate your thoughts on this.

Thanks
