my mother has inflammatory breast cancer and has been going through chemo.she has her last treatment tomorrow, and then she is going to have surgery.i have heard tons of horror stories about what happens when people with cancer have surgery, like that it spreads like wild fire and they soon die.i was wondering what should be done to prevent this.i also would like to ensure that the doctors that are treating her are doing everything the right ways, cuz i have a few friends who have lost loved ones because of doctors doing things incorrectly.i have also had a few people advise she have both of her breasts removed so it doesnt come back in the one they didnt take,i told her this and she said if she did that then she thought it would show up somewhere else if she didnt have a breast left for it to go to.does anyone know anything about that?i was hoping to ask people who have already been through it what they did or had done to beat it...any advice will be much appreciated!thank you and GOD BLESS!
