Knitted Knockers Anyone?

Options

I live in AZ and was not able to find a cami  after my BMX.  In my search I  stumbled across this fantastic organization who helps breast cancer patients by making soft, lightweight knitted knockers. A lovely lady in the Chandler breast center gave me a pair that work perfectly and gave me back some of my self esteem.  There are free patterns to knit your own.  http://knittedknockerscharity.blogspot.com/

Enjoy and hugs.

My daughter knitted me a pair of those, orange with bright red nipples Laughing They work surprisingly well.

I remember seeing a pattern for "Tit Bits" in a Knitty newsletter, and found it from way back in 2005. It's by Beryl Tsang, the designer mentioned in the blog. The knit pattern is here.

Hi Stratford, I think that's the same pattern the knitted knockers ladies use. Mom, I  also agree that they work really well.  The colors of yours are very cool.

I  contacted one of the founders of knitted knockers today and she told me they would be taking their program nationally soon and the website will soon be updated. I'll send more info when I get it.

    Hello

Please visit knittedknockers.info.  We have patterns, suggestions, a list of places where they are currently made and where to donate them once they are made.
