Radiation and Skin Care Recommendations

What did your radiation oncologist recommend for skin care, what are you using, and how's it going?
Mine told me to spread on a thin layer of 100% aloe, followed by a layer of Aquaphor lotion, three times a day.
I'm only five treatments in, so no skin reaction yet. I'm hoping that if I keep the lube jobs up, I'll be OK.
