    Hi my names Charlie, I'm 22 years old. I recently have had bloody nipple discharge so I went to my doctor to voice my concern. She was really nice and took her time examining me and said that from the breast there had been discharge from, she could feel a 'thickening' and seemed worried. She said she could not see anykind of infection and She has referred me to the hospital for a scan (although not sure what type of scan!) I am waiting for my appointment date to come through. Along with these symptoms, my breast has considerably changed size and shape to the point where a friend noticed through my clothing! I also experience a warm feeling in the breast! Has anyone else experienced these symptoms? Just want some more information!!

    Charlie, there are many, many things that could cause your symptoms.  Most are not cancer.  Hang tough.  You will know more after your scan.  This is the hardest time, waiting for tests, then waiting for the results.
