My wife entered Home Hospice a week ago

My wonderful 40 year old wife entered home hospice after discovering that the cancer had spread to the liver and began to shut it down.

She was diagnosed two years ago and to say she has been brave is an understatement.

The hospice company we decided to go with has been with her every step of the way since we entered pallative care nine months ago and have been nothing short of amazing.

Just wanted to share.

Thanks for posting this. As difficult as treatment can be, it is reassuring to know that there is good palliative care out there and that you are happy with what you're getting.

Sorry your wife and you have to go through this.  My Mom just started Hospice yesterday.  Hopefully, both your wife and my Mom will be kept comfortable and pain free.  I've heard so many good things about Hospice.

Stay close to the women on this board for ANYTHING you need.  These women are so loving and supportive.

Take care of YOURSELF during this difficult time.  I'm glad you have found a good and caring hospice to be there with you.

    Anything we can do..........

May God and others hold both of you close. The injustice of it all is so terrible. Wishing both of you grace, peace and many, many memories to sustain you ahead.

Loving arms to embrace you, and to let you know I care deeply.  When I lost my 39 year old daughter (not to cancer) a year and a half ago, I could not have gotten through it all without Hospice.  They are truly angels in disguise that are brought into our lives at our time of great loss.  God bless both you and your wife as you walk down yet another road in this tragic journey.
