Lumpectomy, check; SNBx, check; BMx, check. Scars all over the chest, check! What are you using - with success - to reduce the appearance of all these pink/grey lines? My PS recommends a new product by SkinMedica that costs $95 for 2 oz.! He also says the plain paper tape (from drugstore) will help keep the scar from getting too bumpy.

I am having steroid shots into the scar it is helping. I can have a total of 4 one month apart, I just had my second one last week. I also use silicore sheeting, which I have used and it does flatten out the scar.

i used invicible for treating my scars. it flattened out my scars in 2 weeks. it's a great product which deals with all types of not only on scars both old and new but also on discoloration and brown spots, acne scars, burns, and all other types of surface-skin issues that result in a damaging of the outer tissue. the only drawback would be that you can't find it in nearby stores or shops. It's only available online

    Hi

Re scarring after op, my plastic surgeon , one of the best in New Zealand said to me the best way not to scar is leaving yourself taped up for 4 months. The longer the sites are tight with tape is the best result.

Hope this helps, I am going to give it a go.

    Cheers

    Zita

I had a frontal neck surgery last year and it left a horrible scar. I cannot afford another surgery so i'm living on scar treatments. First tried the so popular mederma but i didn't see it working. Then i went for silicone sheeting but i couldn't get any considerable results. Now i'm up for invicible scars recommended by a friend who had a good experience with it. Let's see how it works!
