comments on new board "look"

Comments on the new board look:

(1) The new creamy background colors looked great and were easy on the eyes. Why revert back to a white/light grey background? It is harsher on the eyes! 

(2) It would be nice to see more than 5 topics on a forum's main page.

(3) It would be nicer to see a line or two of the topic posting as a preview so we know if it interests us and whether to click on it or not

(4) Some font such as in the list of forums on the left pane drop down box seem really small, other font in some titles really large.
