Could be a cache issue; try logging out and clearing your cache and cookies, then logging back in. Let us know if that does it!

Having problems with the site today. When I go to a page the side "more from our site" it is flashing on/off. When I read the new posts on a thread it takes me to the bottom of the page instead of the next comment. I am going to log off & see if that helps. Thx, GG
-
GG sorry you're having trouble! Try also clearing your cache and cookies, closing your browser and restarting.
If that doesn't work, let us know the browser and operating system you're using and we'll have the tech team take a look!

I tried logging out and clearing cache and cookies and then logging back in... didn't help. I also tried to post something new and that didn't help. I posted one more time asking if anyone else has the problem and I haven't seen a reply yet. Not sure what is up. It is only with the "cheezed" thread and not with any other of my favorites.

Hi mods, no response to my sugestion above re: Spam?
-
I'm using an iPad and I now keep having to enter my password each time I visit the site.
-
Hi kareenie - Sorry we missed your post! Yes, is quite annoying to have to report every post, and we know that... Sometimes spammers come in "waves" but that's not the normal way. Our technicians are always working on it and trying to improve our spam filters. Anyway, we'll pass along your suggestion. Sorry for the inconveniences., and thank you for help keeping our community safe!

Rockym, sorry it didn't help, we'll ask the techs. Could you please let us know the browser and operating system you're using?
Traveltext, did this problem happen before or is something new? Did you try clearing your cache and cookies, closing your browser and restarting?

I am using Firefox 45.0.2 version. I made sure it is updated and I still have that thread showing my last post as a new one All my computers are Windows 7. The problem occurs on both my laptops and my tower so I have a feeling it isn't the computer. If you do a test post to the thread, you may see it (or I will just see your post as new and be stuck on that :-)). Thanks.
-
Dear Rockym, Thanks for the information. We will pass it along to our tech team. The Mods

Even with the new post that just showed up, after I read the post, it still shows it as not being read no matter what I do. This is only happening on the "Here's what cheezed me off today" thread and none of the others.
-
Thanks for the additional info, Rockym. Our tech team is looking into this!
-
Thanks Hydranne. We will take the question to our admin and tech team. The Mods

Still having problems with the one "Cheeze" thread. So annoying... I tried to take it off my favorites, log out, remove the community.breastcancer.org cookie, log back in, search and add it as a favorite again and then Boom... it is back to being stuck on saying it has a new post when I have read the newest post. Any ideas yet?? I can't be the only one this has happened to.
-
Rockym, we'll look into it again. Really sorry! Probably will talk with our tech team on Monday.
-
Hey Rocky -- our tech team has fixed your issue! Please let us know if you see anything else.
Thanks!
-
Yay! Thanks so much!

Just a sort of random thought. Is it possible to make the thread title edit-able at least for x amount of time by the OP? Typos and misspelled words are forever.... I know if this was my thread I would wish for the ability to edit title.
https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/73/topics...
-
Hi kareenie -- only the Mods have this ability, and you can always reach out to us to edit a title for you! In fact, we've gone ahead and edited the thread you mention. Thanks!

Hi. I sent an email but thought I would go tho route as well. I cannot log in and keep having to have my password changed. What's up?
-
If you can send me an email that would be great. I'm going to log out so I may not be able to log in again!
-
Mods: Judi is still having problems.
Judi - did you get a new computer? A new browser? Switch from a desktop to a laptop or a tablet? I know the mods will want to know about any changes.
-
Thanks, MinusTwo! We've sent her problem to our tech team, we'll follow up to see if they have any fixes, and email her to let her know.

I have a problem on Android phone with getting logged out and then I can't log in without resetting password. So if I go more than 24hours without checking the site I find when I go on site I have been logged off. I try to log in it says wrong password. Or unable to log on. Whatever. Then I hit the reset password link. Type in email address. Then go to email to click the link. Then enter the new password. Well i use the same one otherwise how will I remember it. Then I am logged in. But past few days it seems to log me off even more often like every day or multiple times a day.

Dear kareenie, We will report the problem to our tech team. The Mods

Dear Mods,
There seems to be a bug with the treatment dates in some of our profiles. There are 2 of us in the June surgeries with surgeries on June 1 where the system randomly changes the date to May 31 in our signatures. Some days it says June 1, other days it says May 31, but I haven't edited my treatments at all. I've had the same problem with a targeted therapy date randomly changing to a day earlier. There is one other member who mentioned the same problem in the June surgery thread a couple of days ago.

Thanks for the report. We will see if we can determine a fix. The Mods

I'm sorry for the problem, ksusan, but the sci-fy geek in me sees that you have read 5 posts even before they were written!
I also like your tag line. I think if you're the type of lady who can squash a mutant uprising, you're probably rocking the whole time travel gig as well!
-
Well, I wasn't going to get into that here, but it is an "I'm my own grandpa" sort of deal. What if I posted in a thread before it was written? Chaos would ensue.
