I use to use this feature to find older information I had read. It was an invaluable feature.  What happened to all this accumulated data? Was it deleted?

Old posts aren't routinely deleted, but some may be trimmed occasionally when they've been duplicated by newer threads on the same subject, or if the original poster's account is deleted, which results in the whole thread going too. The majority of the information is still there and searchable - is there something in particular that you're not finding?

On the old forum, you were able to see members past posts ENTIRELY (instead of the first few words) by using "search" feature or members list or clicking on the member's name. Now you can only see the threads titles (and a tiny part of the posts, depending on what feature you use) where the member has posted their comment. So if you want to see what exactly they have said, you will have to click each thread title and actually open it. To make it worse, even if you clicked on the thead title shown on the search results page or members profile page, it might not take you to the exact post. For instance, if I click on the mod's name, there are some thread titles shown in the "Recent Post by Moderators" section. And if I see the 4th title "New Format is a DISASTER", a little part of your post shows up like "flannelette , those ancient em...". However if I actually click on it, it will take me to someone else's post in that thread. Your post in question doesn't even exist on the same page. Personally I am disappointed at all the changes in many ways.

I don't have this problem. The search feature, for me, works exactly like it used to.
