Burning pain after Mastectomy 3 years ago

Im concerned about the burning sensation in my breast 3 years after a double mastectomy in '09 for extensive multifocal DCIS and micro invasion IDC, not to mention all the LCIS. I don't have any lumps, redness or rash... It's just very sensitive to the touch and pressure. Anyone else experience symptoms like mine... What was your out come? Thanks for your input!!

    hi busybee Laughing i had a simple left uni mast in feb 2010 and i have twinges and some burning sometimes.  i've discussed this with my breast surgeon and my oncologist and we all believe it's nerve endings recovering (or trying to).  the whole area is not sensitive to touch or pressure, in fact it's still mostly numb.  i'd talk with your doc about it, at least to ease your mind.  :-)

    Thank you for your reply, I think your probably right because the sensation comes along for a few days then it's gone... So strange... I'll give my PS a call on Monday, thanks for you help!
