And not just because I'm not good with change.  LOL  In fact, hate isn't even a strong enough word.  It feels very impersonable and like a google search engine response.  It's also harder on the eyes.   Not a happy camper.  Couldn't we have had some changes without changing the whole format?

Things are different and will take some getting used to, but I'm hoping there will be some tweaks and adjustments. Overall, I think I (mostly) like the new layout - except for all that wasted space down the left side of the page.

The new format is definitely harder on the eyes. If the wasted space is eventually intended for ads then that's even worse. There are ways to place ads (as in the old format) that don't hit you over the head.

The type is smaller, it is difficult to distiguish between the OP and the other posts, and there is no clear distinction between posts (old format had subtle color difference).

So in order to accommodate the 25% of users who use mobile devices, the format was messed up for everyone else.

Something tells me this was not what the mods had in mind!

Quite frankly, I think the tech team blew it big time.

I totally agree that it looks like a Google response engine.  If I were coming here for the first time I would think it was one of those fake sites set up to get you to other sites.

Can't find my way around and the new posts are very dificult to find, especially when ther are so few threads per page.

Please, mods, go back to the way it was before......

Very hard on my eyes and the old format was also preferable on my tablet.  I do kind of like the color scheme though.

It is too cold, looks like the medical journals I get, the other one was more welcome to the eyes, friendlier. I hate when something works fine and they improve it.

I wish the topic line would change color like it did in the old format so I could recognize which posts I had previously read.  The print is also a little too small for me.

I am all for change, but this one is definitely different.

I am on the fence over here, but leaning towards not liking it.
