Aflac Cancer policy
Has anyone signed up for Aflac or any other cancer policy after getting breast cancer? They told me I have a 1 year pre exisisting clause, and if the cancer comes back in the breast I would not be covered. It is through my large group employer. So what happens if I get bone mets? Would this be from the breast cancer coming back? I am very confused and don't know if I am waisting my money. Does anybody know anything about this? They did not say anything about being cancer free for 5 years. Just only if the breast cancer comes back I would not be covered. So does that mean if I get colon cancer or cervical cancer it would not be related? Very confused.

If it comes back in your bones it is the breast cancer coming back. You are early stage, so don't worry about it.
My Aflac policy is what I lived on before my disability went through. 3 days after they had the information they needed they sent me a check.

Very interesting question. I did have Critical Illness coverage through Unum with the Cancer Rider. While they paid my claim, I was dropped. Didn't think I'd ever be able to get one like it again. Guess I'll have to do some checking around.

Wow, I am so creeped out right now. Wondering if the company is o.k. with this....perhaps this is even encouraged?

does seem a tad freakish

Aflacphylis must be some sort of Bot roaming the Internet looking for the word Aflac. Very unsettling.

I would say the company is 'doing' this deliberately. Monitoring and trying to shut down criticism of Aflac on public message boards. I'm sure they would justify it as offering 'help' but ... yep ... it's creepy.
I bet a lot of companies do this. Maybe for amusement we should have a thread just mentioning company names and see how many 'bots' we can collect

Sorry Phyllis, you should never ask someone for their policy number, don't you know that being that you are a so called employee? Any questions I have go directly to my agent. Thank you. Beware......... I smell fraud~
