endometrial ablation

Hi all,

I am seeing posts on endometrial BIOPSY ...wondering if any of you have considered endo. ablation (IF you are not planning on more children.)

I love to 'suggest' this to people because it was a lifesaver for for me about 15 years ago .  Well, at least quality of life. I had terrible heavy , long periods for many many years.  I finally got  a  PC  and  googled all around and finally came up with the ablation. I asked my GYN and he was happy to oblige.

Never had another period after that. No general. ( I THINK I may have had a  spinal)  The procedure was a snap.... and voila, no more endometrial issues.  No more periods.

 Just a thought you may want to ask DR. about. They dont seem to be well publicized enough.  Mine was a balloon ablation ...EZ BREEZY process.

Wow, thanks a bunch Purple, never heard of that, have been worried about endometrial cancer from Tamox (no more I quit), NOBODY meaning onco or gyneco ever suggested this.  Doesn't sound too bad at all - will keep it in mind if ever......
