Should I worry? CT?

After my unilateral mastectomy, I had cellulitus, a few months later I developed it again. Its been 2 years since my mastectomy, and I have some puffiness under my arm and towards my incision on my chest. My rings are tight also on that side and I have some neck pain. I do not have redness or fever or any true characteristicsof cellulitus, but my doctor is treating it as subclinical cellulitus with antibiotics. She also sent me for a doppler ultrasound to check for DVT, now she is sending me both to a lymphodema specials AND get a CT of my chest.  If my blood work is fine, my doppler ultrasound is fine, why a Chest ct? I have heard awful things about a chest ct!! All the false positives. I am just not ready to worry again, and I feel my anxiety coming on.

Lola  - You symptoms; the puffiness under your arm and near your scar and your fingers being tight on that side could all be  from lymphedema. I'm sorry that it's taken 2 years for your doctor to send you to a lymphedema therapist. If you don't understand why you're being sent for a chest CT, ask your doctor! You should understand her thoughts behind what she recommends. You may want to repost your symptoms on the lymphedema thread. I am 3 years cancer free from stage 3 breast cancer. I am doing really well and also feeling really good except for sever lower back pains which go down my leg but when I take advil I feel great. I still decided to tell my doctor. So he send me for a bone scan. Which came back suspicious for metastic disease. It also said on the report that certainchanges are compatible with metastic. But the doctor he was not sure until a pet scan and MRI are done. Then they will know. I am scared I am a mother of 2 small kids that still need me. The only thing I do is search the internate for answers but nothing. If anyone can help before I loose my mind. I still have hope. I want to see my kids grow. Please someone help
