Please Help!!!!!!

Mom was initially diagnosed with BC in 2010, last year in July it spread to her bones (spine), and just a few days ago after vomiting and dizziness for 4 days she had an MRI of her brain and it showed extensive brain mets. She started WBR right away. I can't believe my family is going through this again. I can't stop crying, my mom is only 46 and I am not ready to lose her :-(

My heart goes out to you and your mom... all I can offer you is the thought that you have today, you have right now. Make the most of the time you have. Find things you can enjoy together.  Miracles do happen, and even when they don't, you can buy time with treatments.  Make the most of the time and try not to focus on the future, but stay grounded in the present, where I'm sure are being of enormous help and support to your mom. None of this takes away the pain of having to go through this valley of the shadow, but know that you are not alone, and there is a large community of people here who know what you're going through.  Maybe see if there's a local support group for young adult children of parents with serious illnesses, or else look online.  Both when my husband was ill and when I was ill, I found these online resources to be of enormous help.  My thoughts and prayers go with you both.
