Every year I wonder if I'll get to post next year's cancerversary - but I'm sure glad to be posting this one!

These are things I don't have:

Long blonde hair - for some reason it grew in brunette and I keep it VERY short (I got lazy being bald!)

Nipples (don't miss 'em-but I sure do love my silicone implants!)

Ovaries (never used 'em - didn't want to have kids)

Can't sleep through the night without waking up every 2 hours from hot flashes

No longer look MUCH younger than I really am (which I took for granted most of my life!)

These are things I do have:

Lymphedema in my right arm (a hassle, but not too noticeable visually)

Thinning bones (from the Arimidex - remedied by annual infusions of Reclast)

Arthritic right hip (probably also courtesy of Arimidex, although my mother had both her hips replaced without a BC diagnosis)

But wait...I also have 6 YEARS OF REMISSION - that wins out over everything!

All the best to all my sisters....

Julie
