Radiation and headaches

Hello friends,

I had my first radiation treatment today.  I have the worst headache....is this a side effect??

I don't think so, I would say its stress. I am on treatment #5 and I was dizzy and nauseated. The RO told me...it's all in your head! Nice huh?

Just saw this... I am on day 24 of 28 for radiation tx...I am getting the worst pressure headaches late afternoon, early evening. I was wondering if it's from radiation, also. I am not prone to headaches, and I know it's not my bloodpressure (low normal). Is it radiation? Exhaustion?

Hey y'all, I had a horrible headache and neckache the whole time I was in radiation, so much so that the RO ordered an MRI to rule out mets.  The headache went away after I took muscle relaxers for ten days and as soon as I switched to boosts, the neckache went away.  It was the position that I was in for treatment and the tension of it all.  

I don't know if that's the case for everyone, but it was the case for me!
