lymphedema or something else?

Hi All,

 I had stage 1 BC with mastectomy (no recon)  + 2 nodes removed almost 2 years ago. Yesterday, I noticed some puffyness near my underarm on my mastectomy side. Today, I have some neck pain on the same side. Nothing is tender, just a little swollen and puffy. Its been 2 years! Any thoughts or suggestions. I am beginning to worry.

    Not sure if you saw, but there's a whole forum here on Lymphedema (further up from this one). I bet the women there have lots of info.

    Lola, My lymphedema therapist told me that lymphedema can appear any time after surgery--sometimes as long as 20 years later. Please have your MO check it out. At this point it could be anything. If it is LE, the therapy is very good and the results are marvelous. Your therapist will teach you exercises that you can do yourself to keep things under control.
