i need help please i am logged now from my mum account .. am her old daughter i am really devastated i love my mother she is my only thing in my life without her i am nothing really nothing she has diagnosed with IDC last december she did mastectomy  her tumor was 1.5 cm without lymph nodes involvement but unfortunately with invasion lymphvascular ... she always scars of asking dr more questions about her case she told me that get her down ... but i asked doctor about my mums grade and unfortunately it is grade 3 aggressive tumor ,,, she now took three rounds for her chemo therapy and herceptin ... but the things that drive me crazy and make me can't sleep that her LDH enzyme is HIGH i dont know excatly why but the onc request a CT scan to rule out of metastasis the result was enlarged liver and fatty on liver, and many nodules on both lungs the largest one is 1 cm  onc told us that he cant be assure that those nodules are related to cancer because they are very common but iam really scaring to death ... i wanna put my mind at ease but i always fail ((    please tell me why this elevation in LDH enzyme is that because there is a cancerous cells and if yes how after taking three rounds of chmotherapy ??  ((

Hi, Sallyyy ~ I'm so sorry about your Mum's diagnosis, but it sounds like she's had some good news, like a smallish tumor and no lymph node involvement, and that she's getting aggressive chemo treatment, including Herceptin.

Let's just pray that your Mum's cancer has been caught early... that the other nodules, etc., are not related to her bc ... and that the chemo & Herceptin she's getting will do their jobs!   (((Hugs)))   Deanna
