I had seen this story years ago shared by a friend who has a daughter with disabilities.  Although it doesn't relate to cancer, it seems we all could relate to this, regardless of stage.  Cancer changes us, I believe for life. Some more than others but in many cases, we have to totally change the way we thought our lives were going to be, regardless of age, stage, type, etc...so I thought I would share this story...you can tweak it as you read to be applicable to our situation
