Medicaid questions

Options

I am applying for Medicaid so I can receive treatment. Does anyone know if it is any good? Will it allow me to run genetic testing if recommended? Does it cover prescriptions? Basically, is it going to let me be aggressive or is it a "bare essentials" kind of insurance? I am in Indiana. Any insight is appreciated.

They will pay for anything deemed "medically necessary". So if your Doc says you need it, they will pay for it.

As far as prescriptions, I pay a copay, but it is normally not more than $5, and there is none for my kids. There is also a copay for office visits and some tests, but that is only a few dollars too.

Good luck! I hope you get it, I don't know what I would do without it.

Medicaid is state managed. Some states are better than others. Mine never met a budget ir couldn't cut. So check locally.
