trial drug Foretinib for triple negative BC

I am very new to this forum and my wife Wendy who was first dx on Apr 5, 2011 with trip neg BC, had chemo, double mast. then rads. Now yesterday after a recent CT scan has found she has non operative and incurable mets. They have found in the sterum and some chest nodes. They have given two options, 1) trial drug Foretinib or 2) two chemo drugs Carboplatin and gemcitabine. Has anyone tried the Foretinib or know much about it? Thanks so much, we are so numb right now.
