Worried about IBC

Hi Everyone -

So, I have had a long history of worry with IBC.  I have always had pain (a dull ache) in my left breast - after I wean each of my children (at about 1 year old) but this time, it has continued to ache from time to time.

2 months ago I noticed a very small red dot close to my nipple.  I could see the hair duct, and I think (can't remember) I tried to pop the ingrown hair, and stuff came out.  So, I thought that was that.  But, it is 2 months later and the area is still red.  Area is smaller than a pencil eraser.

When this first started, I showed the spot to my OB and my GP, neither were worried.  Because of family history, I had an MRI done back in Sept, and that was clear.

I do keep picking at the spot from time to time, which makes it remain redish.  There are no other symptoms - no swelling, no hotness, no skin puckering.

I am going back to my OB on Friday just to have her look again - when she looked the first time, I addressed my fear of IBC, and she is a specialist, so I felt at ease, but just wish this spot would go away!

Please let me know your thoughts.  Thanks so much ladies.
